In 2000 he joined EKO-KOM and stood at the very beginning of the dynamic development of the waste sorting system. Since 2005 Lukáš has been responsible for ensuring the promotion of sorting and recycling through education and training projects as Director of Communications. EKO-KOM was founded in 1997 by industrial companies producing packaged goods, with primary task to ensure compliance with the take-back and recycling of packaging waste.
At the Communication Summit, Lukáš will focus on summarizing his experience in communicating waste sorting. He will mention what worked best over the past 15 years, and what turned out to be a dead end. EKO-KOM's communication has long maintained a high standard. In 2017, a work by Havas agency received two international awards, in New York at the Cresta Awards and also at the Epica Awards in Berlin. Waste sorting campaigns have also scored several times in the prestigious EFFIE competition for the most cost-effective advertising.
