Although Uber and Amazon are considered to have revolutionized their industry, they did not have to reinvent the wheel in their local communications. They focused on what Czech customers are interested in, thus strengthening their relationship with the "foreign" brand. Miroslava, who worked for both of these companies, will talk about this at the Summit.
Since October 2018, she has been running Amazon's PR department for Central and Eastern Europe. She is in charge of Amazon's external communications and CSR in Amazon Fulfillment centers and corporate communications primarily on the Czech and Slovak markets. Before that, she worked as a press spokeswoman for Uber and took care of external communication on the Czech and Slovak markets. She started her career in 2012 in Ogilvy PR, where she focused mainly on technology and financial clients such as GE Money Bank, MasterCard or Uber. She studied at Bournemouth University and Oxford Brookes University, both in the UK.
